0:01Welcome to Demystify Magic with Molly and Madison.I'm Molly, a former skeptic turned full time energy healer and teacher. And I'm Madison, a born and raised witch running my family's crystal shop. And we're here to explore all things woo through the lens of both science and spirituality, so that you can find the moments of magic in your everyday life and create an intentional spiritual.0:19Practice.So if that's what you're into, find a cozy spot, take a deep breath, and let's demystify some magic.Howdy Doody.Howdy Doody.Howdy Doody friends. It's a Howdy Doody day.Tell me about it.Today we have a little bit of a different episode we've never done.0:39Maybe we have.I actually, I don't know.I'm not sure you all know our discography better than I do at this point.Yeah.Retweet, but we are going to share our Eclipse recap as promised, as asked for. We're just going to talk about our experience with the eclipse.0:56We would love to hear your experience of the eclipse too on Spotify. Now there's this cool new feature where you can leave comments and we can respond back to you.So if you want to leave a comment, you know, retweeting anything we say or anything about your eclipse season, let us know there. As always, our DMS are open as well.1:13And yeah, we're just going to, we're just going to chitchat about it.But first, Madison, what's your magic moment of the week?Well, for those who have been watching the news or following me or us on Instagram, you know that like, this is kind of been a tough week and I've really struggled.1:33Like, Hurricane Helene has like devastated the southeastern United States.I live in the Tampa Bay area and we saw storm surge that is like unlike anything anyone has ever seen before.1:54And I am, I'm experiencing this like weird, almost like survivor's guilt where like first of all, thank you so much to everybody who messaged me or like messaged our demystify magic Instagram account like checking on me.2:14That's very sweet and tender.I talked to so many of you who were evacuating or we're hunkering down or we know we're, I just, I felt like we were all in it together and I really, really appreciated that. But my house is fine. The store is fine.2:32Hedge, which is fine.Spellcrafter is fine.Like everything is OK even up to like I don't know what you've watched about Western North Carolina, but Asheville, like you can't get into Asheville, NC by car.2:48The only way to access it by is by air because landslides have destroyed the roads.Like people are trapped in the Appalachian Mountains or in the Appalachian Mountains.Sorry, I know that that's the right way to say it.But even like as far as my family, like my hometown is like 50 miles from Asheville.3:09I just feel like everything around me is destroyed and I'm like standing in the middle, like my fence is down.Yeah.And it's like this very strange feeling, but I've really been able to find the magic here.I swear I'm getting to a magic moment.3:25I promise I'm not just gonna talk about how bad things are. This is not a tragic moment. But like, really, where I've been able to find the magic over this past week, 'cause I've like, I've labored over what I'm gonna talk about today, where I'm like, I don't know how to find levity here is in the community here, like the community in Florida and the people here and the way that we are also willing to help one another because you and I have talked about this privately.3:56But people are so fucking mean to the South when natural disasters happen here. And it's never people yelling at the people that should get yelled at, like the people in our government who deny climate change. No one's yelling at our governor. It's always people yelling at poor people who don't evacuate.4:15And so to like, it's, it's nice to get offline and go outside and see the people like just helping their neighbors. And it has like, renewed a sense of love and passion in me for the place that I live because it is really scary to live in a place where this happens.4:40And it has not always been like this, but the people here are worth fighting for.And so a lot of people will ask me why I choose to live in Florida. And that is why because of all the people who care about these things leave, then we're just sacrificing this place.4:56And I'm not willing to do that. And that's not to, like, shit on people who leave Florida because people have like, very good reasons to.I am very privileged, and that's why I choose to be here because I can use that privilege. And so that's my magic moment.5:12I love Florida, I love the southeastern United States. And if you, like me, feel paralyzed and want to help, I'll have some links in the description of this episode. And also, if you listen to this podcast, even if this is your first episode and you have been affected by Hurricane Helene, sorry.5:37I'm sending you a legal virtual hug.I'm not crying, you're crying. This is where it's annoying that our podcast is long distance.I know if you have been affected and you have a GoFundMe, please, please send it to us.I really, really would love to gather those and put them.5:56I like I I'm going to make an Instagram highlight on the demystify magic Instagram. So at least for me, it feels more tangible to me to like help directly, obviously, like donate to places like the Red Cross, like they are doing amazing work.6:12But also there are a lot of people who can't receive help from places like that who your dollars will go really far starting small, starting with individual families that have been impacted. So if you have a GoFundMe, please, please, please send it to me.6:29OK, Thank you.I love you guys.I'm off my soapbox, I promise.I know it was such a wild like thing to watch because I feel like, I feel like Florida's like my second home in a weird way.Like I feel home there even though I've never lived there.6:47Like my two favorite people in the world are there. So yeah, it was just weird 'cause it's like up here we don't have storms like that, like we have nor'easters, but like, you know, worst case scenario is it, I guess worst case scenario is like a tree falls on your house or something like that does happen.7:09But like for the most part, it's just like we're snowed in for a few days, maybe we lose power. It's not like when you lose power in like Texas and it's like, Oh my God, like, you know, like here, it's like we're ready for it.We're like, if you live in Maine, you know, you're gonna probably lose power unless you're on a specific grid.7:26And it I do, I resonate with what you said about like neighbors helping neighbors 'cause I know like whenever we have a storm here, even if it's like big or small, it's like, you know, we don't even really know our neighbors that well. But like Justin will plow the end of their driveways because he has a plow.7:43And like the city plows will just like throw all the snow in front of your driveway and it's a pain in the ass to snow blow out.And then they'll in turn, you know, like help us out with something. And it's just like this cute little.I always thought it was a main thing, but maybe it's just like a human nature thing.8:00Yeah, I think it is a human thing of like, yeah, where you can just like walk down the street and it's like that's what people are doing is just walking around these neighborhoods because like there are a few places you like, some people will probably have seen them on TikTok.Like there's a few creators who like, we'll talk and live in these communities and we'll talk about the flooding that they've experienced like over the past 2-3 years because it's places that haven't flooded historically.8:26And people just go there and walk around and just say, do you need anything? How can we help? And it is really beautiful. And I, it's beautiful amongst like tragedy.I don't know, I have a lot of feelings about it.8:43Clearly.I have a lot of thoughts and feelings.I watched a video last night of someone who is like stranded and someone drone drone dropped in their insulin prescription because they couldn't get it.It's North Carolina and Tennessee.9:00It's so scary.Entire towns are gone.Wild and. It's just like nothing like we've ever seen before. And the South really is, I feel like a litmus test for how things are changing everywhere. And that is not to go too far into it, but that is why we have to care when things happen down here because it is going to come to the north.9:20Natural disasters are getting worse everywhere. And I think that it's really easy to like separate yourself.I really see it as a form of victim blaming of like, it's a, it's a defense mechanism for people to be like, oh, well, I would never live there.Well, I would evacuate.9:35Well, I would do things differently. And so that's like a way to make yourself feel safe.Yeah.And if we don't care when it's happening in Florida and Tennessee and North Carolina and Georgia, then there's gonna be nothing to do when it is so bad that it comes to Maine, you know?9:53Yeah, and I think it's so easy to be like, oh, I would do this or why didn't they do that?Or I would do this, but you have no idea how you would respond.Uh huh.And you have no idea what you would be able to do.Yeah.I can't imagine having to leave my home and not knowing if it would be there when I come back, you know, let alone the people who, like, don't have jobs like we do, where it's like, oh, OK, we can just, you know, at work for a few days if I don't have Wi-Fi or I can't go home or whatever.10:21They're like people who can't do that.Yeah.So.Yeah.Yeah, it's it's like asking people to take an extended vacation at a moment's notice.Like most people can't do that.Yeah, yeah.Interesting that it's happening during Eclipse season.10:38Yeah, big time. That's one way to tie it.Again, we swear we're being topical if this is an an eclipse hurricane. All right, What was your magic moment this week?I feel like, I feel like my magic moment is like, well, OK.10:54I'll preface this by saying this is the second time I've recorded this magic moment. The first time I put a lot of catalysts around, you know, I didn't know when I could share it with you. This is a magic moment that's been ongoing for the better half of this year.11:13Those of you who are.Saying that your magic moment isn't that I'm OK in the, that is weird.Absolutely.My magic moment. You're OK, Disneyland is OK.Disney World.Sorry, I actually don't know if Disneyland is OK.11:28I'm sure it's fine.My dad's OK, Everyone's OK.Aside from that, my magic moment is that mundane magic. The book is getting published.Woo woo woo.And I say this is the second time we're recording this because if you listen to whatever episode that was where the Back to School episode, I think.11:48Last week's Oh no is it is the back to.School episode.Yeah, the back to school.I don't know.Because I recorded this as my magic moment, but then I really thought my publisher was gonna announce it before the episode came out.And then Monday night I was like, Lily, I need you to, I need you to sub in a different magic moment for me.12:06I'm not allowed to announce it yet.And then Tuesday night they announced it.So if you follow me on Instagram, you already know this. But yeah, I'm mundane magic. The book is getting published by Rodale, which is a part of Penguin Random House, which is the largest publisher in the world.12:23And I'm so, so, so excited.I'm I'm really, really pumped about it.This is because of you, by the way, all of you listening, the way I bragged about this community when I was in meetings with publishers and the way I talked about how feral y'all are for everything we share with you and offer with you and how much that has just grown and grown and grown over the last year that made this happen.12:45So pat yourself on the back.I know you're gonna ask me when you can pre-order it.I don't know the answer to that. All I know is my manuscript is due in January and I will keep you updated along the way.But yeah, that's my magic moment is I can finally tell you the irony is.13:02OK.So y'all remember I went down to Florida in May.When I was in Florida, I was like, driving around the coast of Florida and like, on the phone with my literary agent and, like, editors and publishers, like, I was securing this deal.13:18And then for three months, we were kind of like going back and forth on the details of, like, the contract. And I was like, can I tell people? Can I tell people? It's been torture to keep it in.I've never kept a secret for this long. And then I flew to Florida again earlier this month and got the contract while it was in the air and signed it.13:40And I was like, OK, now it's real. Now When can I tell people so?So it's like a true give and take with Florida, you know, like you get sick on the plane, but you often get really good news. And I would argue that you do have fun.I do like Florida.13:56I do.It is.It is my second home. It's one hell of a drug.So true, can confirm as someone who has read parts of this book through screenshots and requests for word changes.14:18I'm just you're walking thesaurus. It's a pretty good book, I think you'll like it.It's pretty good.I'm excited to read it before all of you.Yeah, I'll and I'll be the judge if if it's really good.We just have a podcast episode of you shitting on my book.Nobody buy it, it's bad.14:35This.Thing stinks.Don't worry guys, I'll give you my honest thoughts slide into my DMS.No, I'm kidding. It's really great and I'm really proud of you and watching all of this happen.14:55It's really like it's so interesting like our, our friendship has always kind of been like intertwined with our businesses.I think that's why it's so easy for us to like transition into I guess like what is a business partnership?Kind of like, I don't really know whatever, but like to do something professional together and we've been friends now for what, three years?15:20I've lost track.I think so.Maybe next year's three, I don't know.Anyways, we've been friends for a while.A lot has changed since a lot.Has changed. And it is so cool to be to like have this relationship with you where we almost it feels like we've taken turns like really fostering each other and like our growth where like Hedge, which went through a lot of expansion and then you had this like massive blow up online and then spellcrafter.15:54And now this book is just like really, we've like volleyed really well in terms of like, I feel like we've our friendship is like an incubator.Yeah, I feel like this podcast is an incubator.Very much.So hondo PE.Hondo, PE.16:12Also total side note, I've never felt more seen and loved and understood than when we asked. We like made a general plea because spoiler alert, merch is in the works.I promise we're getting there slowly but surely. We just both have 82 jobs.16:28I don't know if you know that about us.You just moved.I'm in the process of moving.I'm writing a book. You have two.We don't get there, We don't get there, but we made a public plea for like, what do you guys want to see on merch? And the number of people who said they wanted on Topi.16:47I lost my marbles cause one, I didn't realize I said it that often and two, I kind of think it's annoying when I say it and when I become aware. So thank you for loving me and seeing me and wanting on Topi merch.17:05It's happening.Yeah, there also will absolutely be a mouse pendulum.I know everyone's like freaking out. They're like there better be, there better be.There will be, there will be.Of course there will be.If I could narrow it down to the three most common things we got, it would be mouse pendulum is like 2 miles in the sky on this list.17:28Next would be something about the root chakra.Yeah.And I think third might be Hondo PE.Yeah, I think Hondo PE and Howdy Doody friends are tied.Yeah, and howdy, howdy, Doody. All right.Should we actually have an episode now?Yeah, I guess so.17:44I guess so.OK, OK, cool. This is the first time that we've gone to record this podcast with literally no notes. Not a single note.I wrote down the dates of the eclipse because we couldn't remember when it started. And really I like, I think what we wanted this episode to be is like a marker for you to check in with yourself of how you felt through this eclipse.18:11And so even if you just put this episode on, 'cause we're just gonna shoot the shit and talk about what we experienced for this eclipse. If you wanna just put this episode on and use this as like a time, you know, almost like the candle thing that people do for like cleaning or working where you light a tea light and you let it go to the end.18:27Let this episode serve as like get your journal out and just like word vomit about what this eclipse was like for you.Or your notes app doesn't have to be a fancy journal.Or your notes app.Hondo P.So in case you missed our eclipse season survival guide episode, we're going to do a very brief recap.18:46The eclipse season we're talking about was 2024, September 17th or 18th, depending on what time zone you're in.That was the full moon lunar eclipse. And then October 2nd is the solar eclipse. So that time period between the 17th to the 2nd or the 18th to the 1st.19:06Yeah.Whatever, whatever your time zone is, look it up in your time zone.We can't be responsible outside of the East Coast. We're doing our best. We're doing our best. We're in it too. We're recording this on September 30th, so we're still in the middle of it.19:23And I believe we described eclipse season kind of like the tornado in The Wizard of Oz.You believe?I.Believe or did we spend 45 minutes talking about The Wizard of Oz?OK, so I I believe the the the moral of the story is everything gets all upside down.19:43Tornado flipped around. This feels like really morbid given your magic moment now.Yeah, it's.Didn't age well, but at the end of the day, you find the magic was within you all along.19:59Hence there's no place like home.Click your heels together. You really finally appreciate the things in your life that have, you know, kind of the things that weren't necessary drop away to make place for the things that are necessary in reminding you that you have the strength and the power and fortitude to make the life that you want.20:15Yeah.Yeah.Sure.Sure.And now you don't have to listen to that episode.Congratulations.I think you should though, because the realization. And go watch The Wizard of Oz, yeah. Also someone DM D me saying that they also had an experience playing the wicked witch of the West and scarring a child for life and now I feel way less alone so I think you guys.20:38Should start a community? No, you guys should start a support.Group.It's not easy.Being green, we should find those that we should find those kids and get them a support group.Yes, Hondo P.Hondo P OK OK, so.20:54So tell me about your eclipse.Season honestly, this Eclipse season in a way has felt gentler than the last Eclipse season that we went through you've.Literally just spent like 20 minutes talking about the natural disaster that destroyed everything around you.21:11Yes, that did happen.I'm talking about before that happened.OK, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.OK.The early, early side of Eclipse season.Cause like what we've talked about with the full and new moon of like the energy is around for yeah, in our opinion, like two to three days before and after eclipse season because it's a much longer thing.21:31I start to feel it that it's coming.I've become aware like two to three weeks.Yeah, before. And not to say that it wasn't difficult cause honestly, like my I, I guess like last eclipse season, I felt like I was having an existential crisis. This eclipse season I feel very sleepy.21:49Yes, sleepy is the word.Sleepy is the vibe, whereas like last eclipse season, which when was that that was that was in April.Yeah, it was in March. It was March 25th was the solar eclipse and Spellcrafter opened March 23rd.22:06And so it was like a very, very chaotic like almost there was an excess of energy time. And for me, the message this eclipse season has really been to rest, even like even going back to the hurricane, like there's nothing that you like.22:24There comes a point where there's just nothing that you can do, which almost like really hurricane really is a good metaphor for an eclipse because the energy of eclipse season is like you just like the only way out is through. You just kind of got to let it ride. And that really is like, you obviously prepare as much as you can.22:41You evacuate if you need to and you're able or you decide to stay and hunker down. There comes a point where, like, you just kind of have to sit and wait for it to happen.Like nobody's working.Like everything just stops.22:56And that's what makes hurricanes very eerie, which I think also is what makes eclipse season very eerie.Like there's just a general sensation of like, there's an undercurrent of like, something's wrong here.Like something is not as it normally is.It's like when a scary movie, The music cuts out.23:14Very much like that.Like the music of everything has cut out all around, at least in my, like, mental sphere where I just haven't had the energy to do some anything that's not necessary.Yeah, I've been very much in, like, keep the store running, keep everybody, like, get everybody what they need, keep the wheels turning.23:32But I don't have much more to give.Yeah.I'm glad that you've also felt the sleepy sensation because it's like going to bed at 9:30 and waking me up at 7:30 is like pulling teeth.Yeah, like you would think that I went to bed at 4:00.23:50Yeah, I had a similar, I have a similar feeling like that, except for for me personally, this Eclipse season, a bunch of things are coming to a head.Like the book project, you know, like that is not being wrapped up, but kind of like one part of the chapter is closing, pun intended.24:11Like the part where I had to like, keep it secret and like, you know, whatever. And now I can be like really open about my journey with it.And like there are things happening behind the scenes that are making this book feel really real, which is bizarre, but also like other big things too.24:28Like I think in last Eclipse season was when I started updating my website with my website designer and that just went live. And then also, I think I think earlier this year I was talking about like renovating my house, remodeling my house, and now we're moving to like a different house.24:50So there's a lot of things that sort of like a lot of seeds that were planted last eclipse season that are like blooming now, but they're all happening at once.So it does feel like a tornado, like there's, it's a lot of like is the general vibe, if I could use a technical term like and, and the best example of this is with my house.25:14So we, we found a house we love.We thought, oh, the easiest part about this process is going to be selling our house because we have like a nice house, great location, low price point, low for the area, you know, doesn't need a lot of work, you know, like ready to move in.25:32I mean, it's 100 year old house. So it's got its quirks, but you know, like it's, it's one of those houses that like 20-5 people bid on four years ago and we like barely got it.So it's one of those that we're like, OK, we're not going to have a problem selling this house because we've only improved it since then.So we find a house we love.25:49It takes us forever to find a house we love.We put an offer on it contingent on the sale of our house, and they give us two weeks to go under contract. We're like, great, we can do that, that's no problem. And then we found selling our house to be much more difficult than we thought it would be.26:05We didn't have any offers, No offers, no offers. And then I flew to Florida and we got an offer on our house.Just saying you better put some respect on our name before you call us Flu Rida 'cause we're also a house and book rida.26:21I know, I know.So we get an offer and this is where Eclipse season really began is the offer we had.The person was like had a very specific loan.So we had to do all this work to the house.Like we had to fix a broken window that wasn't even in use.26:37We had to paint our garage. That's like basically falling down.Like we had to do so, so much work. And then we went through inspections and you know how when you do inspections, you like, you know, if it's a safety concern, you're like, sure, like we'll do that. No, they wanted every single thing down to like reconstructing the basement.26:57And we're like, no, like we basically agreed to do like 80% of the work and then the guy backed out and we're like fuck, because the guy backs out, we lose the house we want.So we basically like this happened on a Thursday night, the peak eclipse eclipse season.27:18Like right in the middle of the eclipse season, I was sick with the flu rida. And, and basically like our, our realtor worked with the other realtor and they gave us an extension to put our house under contract. We had an open house.27:35Very few people came, but they all came at the same time, which was interesting. And then we got a better offer. So like within 24 hours, I went through this whiplash of like, oh, no, I'm going to lose the house.OK, we have some time to keep the house.Oh no, we didn't have a lot of people at the open house.Oh, no, OK, we have an offer.27:50And actually it's better than the last 1.So it's been a lot of like that feeling where it's just like whiplash where it's like, oh, this is really exciting.Oh my God, this sucks.Oh my God, this could be really bad.Oh, this could be really great.Like, and I think that's the part that's been exhausting to me is that like being, I feel like I'm like tug of war between like, like really good news and really bad news back and forth, really good emotions, really bad emotions, really negative, really positive.28:17And my only solution is to stay present.Like that's the only option for me was like when all this was happening with the house, I was just like, OK, what's in my control right now?And because of that, I felt like I was kind of like the eye of the storm a little bit.Mm hmm.28:32The eye of the hurricane.Yeah, you know, the eye of the tornado, whatever you want to call it.Whatever is your natural disaster of choice.Sorry.You know, if I don't laugh, I'll cry again. And nobody wants to listen to that twice in one podcast.28:53Yeah, I think I feel like we're on like opposite.Maybe that's why this works so well.Maybe it's that we're on opposite Eclipse seasons.Yeah, 'cause you moved, you got your house last Eclipse season.Yeah, I guess so.Like right at the tail end of it, 'cause yeah.29:09And we opened Spellcrafter. And so it was like this.It was very much like a period of building and as much as like obviously opening the store is like a really big deal. And from the outside that feels like the finish line really it's the starting line.29:30And so it was like starting this really incredible thing that has taken on kind of a life of its own now.And I do feel like now I'm really seeing the fruits of that. There's a lot of really exciting stuff happening for us as well.29:49Like I feel like we're constantly, I can't even assign it to, I can't even assign it to astrological events because we're just so constantly iterating and doing new things.Yeah, but this eclipse mom and I are doing a little tea and coffee situation in the hedge which building and eventually maybe doing one as well in the building that spellcrafters in.30:11We have some extra space in our next door neighbor at Hedge, which is like in the process of moving out.And so a totally new venture obviously like food services, nothing that we've ever done before.30:26And so we have a lot of help in that regard, but it really feels like the completion of this thing that we've been working towards because community has always been at the center of what we've wanted to do here.30:42And like finding new ways to center community in retail and like for profit, quote UN quote, for profit space, I don't know what like what else to call it is an uphill battle. And so finding new ways to do that and really like creating a, creating a space that people can just be in has been really important to us.31:03And so it again, it feels like a, a beginning and an ending all in one of like a beginning, something new, but also a completion of like when we opened Hedgewich, we knew that there was something more coming. And then we opened Spellcrafter and we knew that there was some like, there's just like there's something else, there's something else.31:20And this really feels like, you know, we call Hedwich and Spellcrafter sister stores. This really feels like the completion of that family unit almost.Three sisters. It's gonna be called the Potionary. We're very excited.Stay tuned for updates.31:36But I kind of what's so wild about the way that life has been for the past few months, the past three years really since we opened Hedwitch, is that there's so much exciting stuff going on that I like even forget to talk about stuff like that.I'm like, Oh yeah, we are building something new.31:52The Potionary is happening. We just maybe secured like our barista trainer. And so while it is really chaotic and, you know, with sleepy being the word that's come through for me big time this eclipse season, it feels like I'm like, I feels like I'm like trudging through mud to get things done.32:15But at the same time, it really does teach me that, like, I don't have to kill myself.Yeah, for things to go really well and things to be OK and things to be more than OK.Yeah, that feels like the theme of this eclipse.Like, I feel like those of you listening, let us know if you resonate with this.32:35But I feel like that's the lesson that a lot of us are learning right now is that it feels like we're trudging through mud to teach us that it's OK to go slower.Like, you will still get to your destination if you take your time and you stay present and you take things off your plate and you delegate.32:52Like everything will be OK.You don't have to shoulder the burden of everything. And like also run a marathon at the same time.Yeah, you do not have to do it all alone.Yeah.That has been the theme for me, like allowing myself to rely on people and to say when I need help.33:11Recently Drew, my partner, has come to work for the greater conglomerate of our magical enterprises, which has been really fun and exciting, but it also it has taught me a lot of how resistant I am to help.33:31And I think that that really is the lesson that he's been here to teach.Because like, obviously the boundaries are very different when it's your partner with you at work. And the other day it was like something so dumb and small where he just looked at me and he was like, if you can't handle this right now, just let me.33:51Like, why are you not allowing me?Like just give it to me, I will do it right now.And something about it being him rather than like someone else, I was really able to like listen and absorb that.34:07And it made me really reflective of why don't I let anyone help?Yeah, You know, it's so wild.I at the start of eclipse season, literally like I was in the airport headed to Florida.Florida I got a reading from friend of the podcast Anthony Anthony hi, shouting you out.34:29We'll leave his details down below this afternoon. And this that was literally like the message he that came through is like control what you can control, delegate the rest, like ask for help basically. So, and that was like my anchor throughout the whole eclipse.34:49Like I remember even saying to you like I was, I was feeling really like just like so stressed about the house situation. And I was just like, I'm going to go watch Anthony's video he sent me again. And it just made me feel so much better. And then like everything worked out fine.35:05So if you are someone who likes tarot readings, wants a tarot reading, I would get one at the start of Eclipse season and use that as like your, your benchmark, your gauge, 'cause it really was like an emotional anchor for me.35:21Like it, it was something I returned to over and over again. It was like, OK, Anthony said everything is going to be fine.So it's going to be fine. And I know in my heart of hearts, like 10 years from now, I'm going to look back on this and be like, ha, ha, that was funny, rather than ha, ha, that really sucked, you know?35:37And so it just got to stay present. That's all I can do.That's all I can control right now.Like what's in my control right here, right now and everything else.Like where can I ask for help?Yeah, that's so funny.I actually did the same thing.Really.Like, yeah.So Anthony did a special on mini readings to help fundraise for his husband to go on a a trip for.35:59He's a dental hygienist. He was doing a or he is doing, he's going in a couple months to clean teeth, going on a service trip to clean teeth. And he did a special on mini readings to like get his plane ticket. So I did one, obviously.36:14And that was what I asked.I was like, what do I need to know for eclipse season? And it was very much like a everything's OK, it's gonna be fine. This podcast is not sponsored by Anthony. We just love him.We just love him and you guys do too.36:32What's so fun?Sorry, now I'm going on an Anthony tangent.Yeah.Let's go on an Anthony tangent.People come into Spellcrafter to meet Anthony.Like as they should. As they should. He is definitely the more exciting. He's a gem member of this duo that the two of us have.36:53When people come into the store and meet me, I'm like, Oh my God, hi.I'm so nervous.Like I don't know what to do with my hands and and he's just like, hey, like he's known you forever and he's just so good.37:08I love him.But I think that that's a really great piece of advice.Like getting even like just like a short little mini reading, which is just what that was.So it was just like a 10 minute video that you have to like replay over and over.37:24It was just like so grounding. And The thing is like, very rarely in those times is anybody telling me something that I don't already know.I know it's gonna be OK, but it is so validating to have another human being. And it feels like, you know, when it's like divinely interpreted of like it, you don't need to worry.37:45That is like a very helpful and grounding thing.Yeah, yeah.Highly recommend.I will be Anthony.I'll be calling you up every Eclipse season.Watch out.Be prepared, keep put us on the roster.Yeah, you better not better not get so many podcast listeners reaching out to you that you don't have time for us anymore.38:06Just.Yeah, we better go to the top of your list. That's honestly like the best part of working in a metaphysical space is that we're just all constantly pulling cards for each other.I love that.38:22I love that that's the one downside to my coworkers not having thumbs.Yeah, that's tough.Yeah.Can't pull cards for me.You know, maybe one day.Maybe.I think we did it.38:37OK.Let us know if you like a little bit of a chattier episode.Yeah, Thank you for bearing with us.Honestly, I don't know that I was even capable this week of like putting out something productive.38:55So thank you for bearing with us.I just needed AI, just needed an hour to sit with my bestie, you know? And we share it with the Internet.Yep, so if you enjoyed this, let us know and we will see you next week.We are doing our Full moon revamp episode.39:14Revamp.OK, bye. Thanks for listening to Demystify Magic with Molly and Madison. If you want to learn more about us, you can find all our links in the show notes. We'd love to know what you think of today's episode, so drop us a review or give us a shout out on social media. And don't forget to let us know your magical moment of the week.39:31OK?Love you.Bye.

That's honestly like the best part of working in a metaphysical space is that we're just all constantly pulling cards for each other.I love that.38:22I love that that's the one downside to my coworkers not having thumbs.Yeah, that's tough.Yeah.Can't pull cards for me.You know, maybe one day.Maybe.I think we did it.38:37OK.Let us know if you like a little bit of a chattier episode.Yeah, Thank you for bearing with us.Honestly, I don't know that I was even capable this week of
